There are Steam topics in the correct board (Games) where you could ask and add people. Also, did the idea of a friends list somehow being too small hit mainstream with Facebook? I feel as if that's where it became such a big thing to think that. Especially this fashion of adding people, where you only talk to 3 out of 200 people. I should expect less from the internet, I suppose.
