Even if it was possible there would be chaos. There would be a more than likely chance of every add-on created becoming obsolete and being unusable. It's best if the engine stay the same. Plus; I find it fine, there's been advances in add-ons in the past year by a lot.

There are people who'd prefer v8 over v19, for one.

For another, add-on makers would not like having to completely redo all their addons.

You also seem to think we have made every single idea that there can be and there's no hope of having fun doing anything other than playing with addons.

You made this topic because you're getting bored with Blockland, that's the main issue here.

A new engine won't make people more creative or their ideas more original. People can do plenty with nearly full scripting access to the game. They just don't.

You don't understand.

There is no logical reason to change the engine just so that we can have a few more abilities for scripting.
People will make and remake either way, changing an engine doesn't stimulate the imagination at all.
