Alex was in bed with in the basement, a very small room, was thinking about his real mum. His real dad, and then he had a funny idea. He thought of running away! He just laughed to himself and rolled to the other side of his bed.
Under his breath he said "It may be possible" then went to sleep.
That morning he woke up to the sound of his horrible screeching step mothers. "ALEX YOU LAZY RUNT GET UP!".
Alex rose up and got into his work clothes. To his surprise he wasn't beaten. Maybe his steps were in a good mood.
Today the things he did was a a very harder thing then usual. Ok, he took back what he said earlier. Today he had to clean the fireplace. While cleaning it its suddenly lit on fire! He had burned his hand. With his two steps cry of laughter in a rocking chair. One of his steps fell over. The room was silent. Then that step started yelling "ARE YOU JUST GONNA STAND THERE? HELP ME YOU FOOL!". After Alex was done picking her up he was sent to his room.
Luckily, he had snatched some chips on the way up there. That night he knew he had to do this, to avoid being tortured and to find nicer parents. "But wait..." He said to himself. "I don't even get fed here! How am i gonna get clothes? Shelter? I'll worry about it in the morning." Saying with a yawn.
