Ok, what I got from the survey is that it helped some people out. That's great, they couldn't do it on their own so they threw a bunch of money at a guy with a suit who claimed to know what he was doing. Cool. Was it necessary? Not really, but it's worded strangely, like i'd really, really have to get into it to understand anything.
out of 7,000 respondents who had gone through therapy, around 90% reported an overall increase in their happiness and decreasing of the problem. they got helped out a lot, so who the forget cares if it's "necessary"? it's not hurting anyone and it's helping people out, so i'm fine with it. i'll say this bigger because you're not listening to me:
JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T NEED SOMETHING DOES NOT MEAN OTHER PEOPLE DON'TAlso, in response to the 15 prisoners who've gone through rehabilitation, they're still in jail. They haven't gone out adventuring on an entirely new journey. Law, whether or not you've "changed" or not cannot be avoided or surpassed.
because they have life sentences and our legal system is so ass-backwards that completely clean people aren't released
That's a scary thought, if someone committed, say, a couple of armed robberies without killing a soul and got 14 years for it, they should just get killed? No way, I wouldn't allow something like that if I had the ability to change it.
jacob, he's obviously trolling with that post. ignore him
