Author Topic: MicroBlock - Original v9 Eventers [Mb]  (Read 28096 times)

You stood around in The Slate Building for what, 4 hours, without realizing. I'd be surprised if you retained any of the changes, especially since you rarely visit anymore.
It's difficult to connect to a server you are banned from.

This isn't about you. Its about showing your ability to design a quality event build. MicroBlock likes novelty and interesting creations, you should be putting the best of the best to us as an application. The event build is suppose to show your skill in both building and events, you self admitted you didn't do your best and (maybe not in so many words) was not a slow and careful build. That is not app worthy. We don't accept any old crap.

And I will be honest, I didn't read the rest because I'm bored of you at this point. You just don't get it. You make moot point after moot point.
You never looked at my build because you destroyed it. It was actually really creative and cool and you probably would have liked it if you didn't destroy it.

Also, calling my points moot when you've admitted that your attention span is not broad enough to read a short post is hypocrisy in the first degree.

It's not really moving... Look that the Pong save.
Nobody ever gets what i'm saying when i discuss about that. Just forget it.

The brick doesn't move, it just appears to move. You mean the paddle, right? Along the side of the screen are bricks in every place. Each time the user presses the up button, the current brick is derendered, deraycast, and decollided, and the brick above gets rendering, raycasting, and collision, to make it look as if it goes up. Look at the demo build to see more.

that is ridiculously inefficient.

you should get a colorset with an invisible color and then you can just have the key switch to the invisible color and have a lower number of events.

which means it will play songs at a less sluggish tempo.

that is ridiculously inefficient.

Its the way the default example does it, as asked by the Purple. There is no speed issue with simple events like that, expecting people to change their colorset is a lazy shortcut.

You know you are not welcome here, feel free to maintain some dignity and leave at your own accord.

Or just make a brick disappear...

Or just make a brick disappear...

Make more than one brick disappear on loop? Honestly Killer that is just awful.  :cookieMonster:

Not what I meant

... er, then elaborate?

why would you use the unraycast/collide/render all at once if they're the same setting? wouldn't dissapear 0/-1 be easier?
edit:

that's even more inefficient, you'd have to use a toggle/seteventsenabled to make the pong projectile dissapear when invisible :D

I am 90% sure -1 doesn't actually work. It never seems to for any event settings for me.

Does for me.

I can post wherever I want, and in this case, the post was completely non-inflammatory. You can suck my richard for all I care, just because you refuse to listen to anything I say.

Oh cool, a mac user who both puts aesthetic above performance and also prefers inefficient methods. The best possible combo to abolish common stereotypes of OSX users.

It is when you have chords of 5+ notes going on like those in the ritarded Maple Leaf Rag video. (See what I did there? Heh, music jokes).

Yeah, but as you just proved, its always followed by something ranty. The typical behavior of someone who is frustrated over a ban and wants to hang around like a bad smell because it makes them feel they can't be bossed around-- seen this plenty.

Just making me feel better your app didn't get through. Who'd want you in a clan? You aren't community material.

i agree with sheath on this on,plus seventh is really winy sometimes.
