Author Topic: PipBoy 3000 (In real life, of course!)  (Read 3236 times)

Ever since I had played the first of the amazing gaming series, I had always wanted my very own PipBoy 3000, from the Fallout line of games. Then, I had come to realize: It just wasn't possible.

This is where I prove that statement wrong. Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes upon my dream-come-true.

I really went into detail there.

The guts of the thing.

Mounted on my arm.

Just like the game!

To prove that this is my creation..

To show that I made it.

Well, that's about it! Thanks for checking this out, I'm really glad that I went through and did this project.

You did this? You.
I have a hard time believing that since it looks just like a gutted out version of the collector's edition clock which you can buy. People make molds and sell copies of it for even cheaper. So please, explain how you made this.

I created a mold off of the Fallout Survival Edition's clock, which I bought off a kind fellow named Steven. I bought the clock for about $60, and created a mold using polyester resin, which I bought from online. Problem?

stuff a mini-computer into that and make it real.

Now THAT would be epic.

Now THAT would be epic.
Put iPhone parts into it and make it a phone. Watch as people watch you in awe as you talk to your pip boy.

now study quantum physics and give it the ability to store an indefinite amount of items

then call me back so i can steal it from you

I helped him build it. Its completely legit.

Just a little. You made it sound like you sculpted it from clay, molded it, and lined it with carbon fiber or something ridiculous.
I mean, good just molding a pre-made one, I guess. :P I do like the buttons.

The mounted picture doesnt look very good.
You should have made it tighter.

I want talk radio and Frank Sinatra. DO IT, DRAG AND DROP!

Damn, that's cool. I bet one of those hopeless youtube film dudes would pay heaps to get their hands on that.
