It was just a suggestion. thats what i would do, considering you can build better computers than whats on the market, but im sorry i was considering giving my opinion of a way to save money to someone.

I left assembly of my computer to my dad. He's very handy with that kind of stuff but he's behind the times, technology wise. Calls graphics cards "Color cards", stuff like that.

I want to get a new graphics card and some more ram, maybe if I get that stuff my dad will help me with the assembly.

That's what I guessed. I want to go from 4 gigabytes to 6, but that's not as urgent as getting a new graphics card. I'm just worried about compatibility.
