Author Topic: Ear Force Z1 Mic, Turtle Beach, Hurts my ears.  (Read 629 times)

So I am going to decide if I should keep these or not.
I'm seriously considering returning them based on the fact the pressure they put on my ears hurts like forget. Every 5-10 minute I have to take them off.
I like them alot, they have alot of nice features most mics don't. But this pain in unbearable.
I watched a movie that is about a hour and twenty minutes long, and I took these off about 10 minutes ago, and the pain continues, along with this raging headache.

Pros:
Cheap.
Swivel Ear Pieces
Bendable Mic
Quality Sound (Mic and Speakers)

Cons:
The pressure they deliver to my ears is killing me.

I wish that I wouldn't have to return them :C. But this looks like the only choice I've got.
What do guys?

Bump.
I need to know what to do with these things today.
Not really sure if I could bend them a tad bit or something, but I won't try as I don't want to break them.

You could get some earbuds and an external mic.

All headphones hurt my ears :(

Try them some more, and see if the problem persists.  If so, return them and get ones that don't wrap aorund the ear as much.

I wish I had a better selection of microphones to pick from. This is about the best they've got at walmart ;c
I don't even know what other places around where I live might sell Mics. I guess I'll do some looking around.
reading up on reviews for this mic, I saw about 4 different ones of people complaining about the same problem.
