Author Topic: Damn Highschool schedule  (Read 658 times)

For some reason, I didn't get to choose what I wanted to do as my classes (AP American History, AP Algebra, Honors English, etc.) for the 24 credits I need. They have me down to earn 4.5 credits. forget.

Does this mean I will not reach my required 24 to graduate? Or will I have to take some intensive as forget courses to gain the two extra credits? Or can I just add two courses on a year or two?

It's dumb as hell because they put me in TWO different weight training things. WHY would I need that?

What? How are you not earning the proper amount of credits?

Also, I learned today that I won't be in any classes with this guy that I've been friends with since pre-school, or my other friend girls.

I don't know, I think it's because they put me in three half-credit classes, and I wanted all 6 credits this year.

Sounds pretty stuffty.

Half credits in general are pretty dumb.
Also pardon my lack of abbreviation knowledge, but what does AP mean?

half credit classes are only for a semester, so dont sweat it bro

Advanced Placement.

Oh, so I'll add some more half credit classes in then. Maybe web design.

Man why does Canada have such a different school system.

I don't understand how GPA's are calculated, I just get number grades and 8 classes in 2 semester worth one credit each, with the exception of one and two classes off in grade 11 and 12 if you want to.

Anyway, why are advanced classes giving you so little credits then?

No, AP classes are a full credit and a ticket to a scholarship.

They didn't put me in AP ANYTHING. Not even history, my strongest subject.

So you're not in those classes? Feels bad man.

List of what classes you are being forced into please? I still need to swap my Comm Tech class for History if I can get the chance.

1st period: Beginning weight training
(stupid as stuff because I will be all sweaty and stuff for the REST OF THE DAY)
2nd period: World Culture
3rd: Spanish I
4th: Lunch
5th: Study Hall
6th: English I
7th: HOPE (Physical education along with health)
8th: Algebra I honors

Weight training sounds pretty dumb, though other than that, it looks alright. Only thing bothering me is that I don't know what Study Hall is.

Also is your schedule always in that order? Mine goes through a cycle of A B C D, then B C D A next day, etc...
