THE BEST WEAPON CHOICE?

Bow & Arrow - I like to sneak around and kill from afar!
Melee - Stealth and Mage characters are just wimps. Real men use swords!
Magic - Both Sword and Bow are rendered useless against my spells!

You just don't see the huge flaws that oblivion actually has.
Yes I do.
I see plenty of flaws in Oblivion.
But they dont break the game for me.

i miss in games like deus ex that dont hold your hand
like they give you a map and you navigate it instead of having a sepiatone interface for fast traveling and horseback riding

You just don't see the huge flaws that oblivion actually has.
Of course we do. We just work around them.

Speak for yourself ok. I find you more annoying than Tony.
Everyone has been arguing back and forth equally...

Tony doesn't like roleplaying because Oblivion isnt really designed for it.
Most everyone else likes roleplaying and imagining it themselves to extend gameplay.

No need to just throw statements like that around that dont help the situation at all.

Yes I do.

When you can run fast enough every time you go down staircases/mountains you literally fly off them and sometimes die depending how high the fall is.

I dont run down stairs while roleplaying.

This, they also don't break the roleplaying experience for me. Seriously Tony, I pity you for not being able to look past it's flaws and have a great enjoyable time with it.

So if the town is on fire and there is a battle going on you will just simply walk down it?

But in the game, nothing is on fire, and there isnt a battle going on.

Seriously Tony, I pity you for not being able to look past it's flaws and have a great enjoyable time with it.

I never said I didn't enjoy the game. I'm just saying the game wasn't designed for true role playing.

Even in real life you can't just launch off of stairs, even though you can.
I never said I didn't enjoy the game. I'm just saying the game wasn't designed for true role playing.
And you've made your point. That doesn't mean others can't try to roleplay to increase game enjoyment.

Even in real life you can't just launch off of stairs, even though you can.

In oblivion if you run down stairs you automatically fly off them because you are simply too fast.

I never said I didn't enjoy the game. I'm just saying the game wasn't designed for true role playing.
yes! This game was not designed for role playing but some of us take it upon ourselves to make the game longer by roleplaying.

How longer must it be? I've spent about 100+ hours playing it my way.
