Does anyone have any idea where I can buy more advanced spells that doesn't involve joining the Mage's Guild?

Oh, you want the higher up spells.

Um, I dont think there is another way. The best spells are the ones that you make, and you either need the frostcraig spire, or join the mages guild.

It wont break the game or anything. It just costs some money.

Its actually a really cool addon.
I would get it *only* if you have the spare money.

I just have Frostcrag Spire so I can explore the wonders of the Bruma Test Chamber from the comfort of my 360.
And so I can create spells.
And harvest ingredients that I could only otherwise find in the planes of Oblivion.
And teleport to any Mages' Guild hall.
And feel like a badass wizard of wonder and whimsy sitting in my tower spawning Atronachs for bodyguards.
God dammit, get this DLC right now.

Usually mage characters are a part of the Mages guild.

Im not gonna play Oblivion anymore, its just gotten way to loving repetitive.

I don't play a mage character who isn't a part of the Mages' Guild.
I once got kicked out of the Guild(due to a long-forgotten accident involving the training room) and I felt so insecure afterwards, like I had lost my parents.

I joined the Mage's Guild. They sell powerful enough spells in the Town Guilds alone, so I am happy. <3

If your stupid enough to want powerful spells yet you don't want to join the Mage's Guild, you could always use the console, or a mod

I hope they buff arrows. My long-range spell rape them in an instant in Oblivion.
I love arrows/stealth, but they really disappointed me.
