I know what you mean, but I've still managed to log 113 hours in.
Try getting some mods. There's a Morrowind overhaul mod that makes the game look like Oblivion quality in terms of graphics if that's your problem.

After I play Skyrim for a while I'm likely going to try and learn to use the Creation kit. I'd love to make some mods.
My dream job is actually to work at BGS so it would be a good start. Todd did say in one interview that the best way to get a job is to show them a mod you made using their game kit.

Ive worked with the Creation kit before, I didnt understand it, but ofc I was 10.
