What if you can build a time machine, use it to get to the past and kill the ''yourself'' of the past?
Instant time paradox. I wonder what would happen if that became truth.
If you went back into the past and killed yourself, you wouldn't exist.
If you don't exist, you never traveled back in time in the first place.
So therefore, you never killed yourself in the first place.
So now you exist, back to step 1.
I was planning on putting that in for discussion next week.
And no stuff there's an explosion, all of the energy in both objects have to be released.
Time machines would be pretty cool. But impractical and impossible. Until that one guy comes along and makes them real.
Doesn't the idea of time travel have to deal with traveling so fast time reverses or goes forward?
That's time dilation. I believe it slows time down, and when you go back to the point in which you left at the same speed, everything there will seem like it went faster through time.
