I watched the video, I knew the US and Canada were close, just not THAT close :o

It was actually pretty good.  Sadly, it didn't do too well financially, and so they never made a sequel.  They're actually planning on making more movies, but they'll be doing them in stop-motion animation, and have one book per movie this time instead of three.

Meh. I might watch it, but most book remakes are horrible. And the book would definitely fit the stop motion theme.
