Getting brick textures to scale are hard. I've barely done it once before. :(

It's simple, I have a massive collection of them from GSF Ghost. Just make a brick stud a 16x16, or  reduce them all in game.

I myself am just starting out.  Your best bet until then is to dig around in scripts to see how things are organized.
