Author Topic: iPod touch g1: youtube app broken?  (Read 844 times)

Every time I try to view a video I get something along the lines of 'cannot connect to youtube', even when the Internet browser works fine. Ideas?

What firmware version are you currently running?

You may need to update your firmware.

I'm on iOS 5 :cookieMonster:
I wish I could get it without spending the $100 on a dev license.

When I had an iPhone2g (first iPhone) I could not use the youtube app eithier. But I could still watch youtube videos if I went onto youtube in Safari. Then I saved it to the homescreen so it was pretty much just like an app to me.

I sold the iPhone2g though becaue you can't upgrade the firmware past 3.1.3 and half the apps I wanted I couldn't download. I now have an iPhone 3GS running firmware 4.3.3

Jailbreak and use mxtube.

No.

Hold the home button and the power button for a few seconds while it's off.
