I'm not good with essays -.-

I'm dead out of ideas. I only have 125 250 words and I need 500. I'm not asking you to write it for me, I'm just asking for ideas.

So far:

"Let's build what we become when we dream."

That’s a famous quote from Nikki Giovanni. It is a quote stating the simple fact that you can become what ever it is you would like to be,  all you need to do is give it your all, try your hardest, and work like you’ve never worked before, and that dream, vision, or non-reality you’ve always wanted to have could become true. Nothing is impossible, in fact. The only thing that is needed is determination, will, and a little bit of patience. Anything you can think up can be possible, but it may take time. Nikki Giovanni’s main goal was to show that every person that existed could influence and help other lives in some way. This relates to me in quite a lot of ways. One time, I was auditioning for a musical, and it was required I learned the song “Fur Elise” by Beethoven, on the piano. I play piano, so I figured “piece of cake”. Well it wasn’t exactly that good of cake. It turned out to be quite difficult, and no piano tutorial videos or teachers helped much. But I kept on trying and giving it my all, and finally, after a couple of weeks, I was able to master the song. Boy did it take long, but in the end, I was able to pull through and learn it, because I didn’t give up, and I built farther and farther to exactly what I dreamed of.

This is serious, I'm applying for a professional online schooling academy. If I got into Davidson's Young Scholars and John Hopkins Young Honor Students, this application means EVERYTHING to me.

I have to write 500 words about this quote. That's all it says. No info about what to write, like should I talk about the author? Should I make sentences ridiculously long to stock word count?

Your quote does not look bad at all, I think its just fine.

"Blockland forums helped me/inspired me to finish this essay, without them I would've never gone here, but never look up what blockland is"

What do you mean, "my quote".

You should write some examples on how people can inspire others, and maybe a personal experience.
you should also expand the vocabulary a little.

The OP.
What about the OP. That's not my quote. What exactly are you trying to say here? I don't understand

Can do. Writing...

Speak how the quote applies to you, what it means to you, how it applies to those around you, it's meaning in general, etc. Write what you feel.

Also, do you have to use this quote or are you given options?
