Author Topic: Baby throwing  (Read 2976 times)

I love this vid.
That's coming from the guy that doesn't mind watching old women getting their heads ran over in a gory mess.

It's not really baby throwing, it's more baby dropping.
It seems to me like a religious thing. Respect them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure this was suppose to give the baby good luck. It's more superstitious than religious.

No, it's more of a cultural thing.

This was featured on the news one time...

Its suppose to say that dropping the baby makes it land in safe hands (The blanket) and since it falls down fast, the evil spirit gets pulled out and leaves the baby, giving it good luck and fortune. This is an equivalent to a Latino girl turning 15 (Quinceniera). It is a religious/cultural thing and from what I can tell, the baby isnt crying from pain but from falling. Most likely because they are scared from either the fall or the people (Considering a baby would cry if it randomly saw 5 additional faces in his house, imagine a whole town).

Also, Baby yoga is weird as forget. I am sure that baby is going to suffer brain damage...

You guys also make it sound like they hit the baby's hand with a sledgehammer or something. They aren't even "Throwing" the baby...

Just another good example of religious ignorance.

Well, if you confronted these people with what they're doing, they could just throw it right back at you:
Why do jews cut the tip of someone's richard off?
Why do christians submerge a child's head in water?

I lol'd. so. loving. hard

Why do jews cut the tip of someone's richard off?
Torah law and as a sacrifice to God
Why do christians submerge a child's head in water?
The only popular denomination that forces infant baptism from what I see are the Catholics. I am non-denominational, so I was never forced to be baptized, I choose it out of my own free will.

Those people are sick.

native americans used to partially drown their children in rivers to make them stronger.

Guys, calm down, it's considered good luck in their country

that or something religous
