Author Topic: 50GB limited connection  (Read 935 times)

I have a monthly-limit of internet traffic of 50GB.
Would that be enough for you to have a connection like this?
(and if bypassing the limit your speed is reduced to 300kbps)

Just asking.

Nope.

Unlimited cap for me because my ISP isn't a fascist.

I'm allowed 250GB a month. I usually use ~150GB a month. The highest I've gone in one month is 236GB.

I've got a 250gb monthly cap. Never hit it once.

Holy stuff, how do you get to all that?

I think he means how do you get the cap so high.
To which the answer is get a better ISP.

I am on a 60 gig cap.

My ISP doesn't seem to care though. They don't give you a meter showing how much you've used/have left, and I'm pretty sure I went over 60 the last 2 months but never heard a thing.

my ISP has no limit

I don't understand what you mean though
a connection like what?

it often depends on where you live

if you live in loving alaska you have 2 choices that control the entirety of the ISP market there and they can give you the stufftiest service ever and you'd have to deal with it
if you live in NYC you probably get it cheaper, i dunno lol i dont live there, maybe they all sap internet from nearby starbucks'
if i have a data cap(i dont know if i do) it's high enough for me to not have reached it, ever

In NYC almost everyone except for braindead morons have secured wireless networks at home.

I have no limit, although its kind of slow.
I would prefer slow unlimited over fast limited.

he means would you be able to live on 50gb a month

answer for me is no

My ISPs limit is 10GB. Yeah.
Each time I go over it, they allocate me another 10GB for $15. I use about 50GB a month ffs.
