I'm on youtube and I'm seeing advertisements you wouldn't see at all, like those damn advertisements with the random guy saying "CONGRATULATIONS YOU WON!" or "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU WON AN iPOD"

I would of expected of youtube to be able to autoblock those advertisements.

Is this same problem with everyone else?

Although that is a solution to this, that is not the point here. YouTube is becoming unsafe. There's a lot of casual internet users who might get fooled and aren't aware of such preventative measures. The fact YouTube would begin allowing such things is astounding. I hope they begin filtering the advertisements they have soon.

Damn you I was going to post a topic about the stupid ads with sound. Youtube's admins really have their heads far up their asses if they think ads with sound on a VIDEO WEBSITE was a good idea. I'm trying to listen to some chill music and I get this ear splitting CONGRATULATIONS YOUVE JUST WON A FREE IPOD NANO. starfishs.

You can't get around the most popular video website on the internet now hosting dangerous advertisements. Just because some people know to and how to block them doesn't make it alright.

Edit: Forgot you shouldn't advertise here, even when not on purpose.
Comes down to 70% of the page being ads.
