YouTube Ads

So it appears YouTube has a new (?) type of ad. Ones that make sound.

Every few minutes I have to listen to SUPER UPBEAT COMMERCIAL FOR SHAMPOO YEAH, and upon insta-muting that, I have to open an ad for some stuffty video in a new tab and close it because otherwise the ad doesn't shut up. Seriously, there is no mute, there is no stop, and it's annoying as hell. I don't know when they're coming either because the ads cycle, and some have sound, some don't, and some have it but it's initially muted (thank god).

The whole point of YouTube is to watch videos. I can't do this comfortably when these stuff ads are going off all the time. If people uploaded their videos elsewhere I'd be switching right about now.

Not-so-fun Fact: I had to switch tabs to mute YouTube ads 3 times while typing this out

Pretty much I now have adblock for google chrome, and I've never gotten any ads from YouTube again.

Youtube keeps trying to come up with new ways to make us hate the ads less, and each method makes us more and more annoyed.
