Which do you use?
I use ATI, I have yet to have any serious problems that can't be fixed by updating my drivers. Plus, ATI cards have HDR, and it looks better than Anti aliasing.
My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 5450.

I prefer Nvidia to ATI and Intel to AMD, but that's
only
because they're all I've ever had personal experience with

ATi Radeon HD5870
it had done me good in lots of games on the highest settings
it's also done me good at DiRT 3, ultra settings
(it requires an ATi Radeon HD 6000 graphics card)

as far as I can tell, they're pretty equal
you're just saying that because that's what you've used, and so your mind decided that it must be better, since whoever bought your computer picked one with it
it's actually a good reason for it, but stating it in that way is not the right way to do it
