Author Topic: virus is neutralized  (Read 4339 times)

I contracted a virus yesterday.

gimme a break it was 2am i wasn't thinking straight

Anyways I downloaded a shady file that deleted itself upon execution. Since then my computer was pretty slow, and my google searches were turning up strange. I installed malwarebytes and it's already discovered a few infected files so hopefully I'll have this under control soon.

don't be stupid like me ;-;

We all make mistakes at 2 Am bro.

Should of worn a Condom

Is there a cure?  :cookieMonster:

What shady file was it?

Those are the times that I never get on my computer, one time I was late at 1am in the morning, and got a horrible virus, it was like 37 threats, and I was scared to death.

Consider yourself lucky.

My gaming PC seems to be a Trojan magnet.

My old PC didn't have an AV and I never had problems.  :cookieMonster:

Why don't people actually get antivirus software? (Im talking about real AV software, not your free stuff)

Because it's expensive.

Some don't take care of their computers?

Define 'real' antivirus.

Because it's expensive.
BitDefender goes as low as $29.95

Define 'real' antivirus.
Antivirus software that isn't free.

malwarebytes is still awesome as a demo

Antivirus software that isn't free.
What's the difference?  Malwarebytes isn't free, but the demo does most of the stuff a 'real' antivirus does.

I'm subscribed to Norton.
