You can do this with pretty much any networked storage device.
Our two PS3's, our two Blu-ray players, and all the computers in our house are allowed access to a 4 terabyte (two 2TB drives) RAID 0 NAS.
If you have the network pass you can access it with any device really. From there you can play or view anything on it.
