Stop being dumb Johnny.

Stop being dumb Johnny.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

Blocklands Winning!!
On the blockland forums? What a surprise!

Minecraft is easier to jump into because pretty much everything it can do is offered straight up to you on a plate.
Blockland, as a lego-style block-building game, requires you to build first.

But Blockland has more open-end options than Minecraft.

I enjoy them both, but when I really get down to it, I find Blockland to be more fun.
Sometimes, I find Minecraft just a little bit too repetetive.

Now- Blockland
After Adventure Update- Minecraft

Everything except how to actually do anything.

Blockland offers a tutorial on how things work.
Minecraft tosses you into a world with no knowledge.

If you want everything offered up on a plate, play Terraria. Crafting is as simple as it gets in that game. In Minecraft, you either have to look up recipes online, or figure out how to make the little amount of content using a 2x2 or 3x3 grid.

1.8 looks good but I still think Minecraft will essentially be the same, unless an enormous feature is added (like crafting or infinite world generation sized).

Wait what?

...lol

Wait what?
1.8 is adding a forgetton of awesome stuff and I'll be playing it more than Blockland when it comes out, but it's not like a massive game-changing feature is being added. I don't know, I'm kind of rethinking what I said.

Simple English people.

I'm not sure what he means either.
He thinks that the Minecraft Adventure Update won't be that brilliant, unless it provides some massive addition to it.

Something on the likes of changing from Creative Minecraft's boxed in world, to the openly expansive, potentially infinite world that you get with every other version.
