He thinks that the Minecraft Adventure Update won't be that brilliant, unless it provides some massive addition to it.

Something on the likes of changing from Creative Minecraft's boxed in world, to the openly expansive, potentially infinite world that you get with every other version.
What this fine chap said.

They are different games with different purpose.

But taken to community, I'd say Blockland.

Around everyone knows around everyone on the forums, and the forums are very slim, accessible, and many points of discussion.

Now- Blockland

Oh hey look you were wrong on the flaming part.

Notch described the Endermen as a "mob". Does that mean they do not attack, but just greif?
If so, forget. Singleplayer is not safe against greifing anymore :c

Make a new world. Plus getting to the endgame on a regularly update game that you made a whole topic about is no reason not to follow developement.

All of Minecraft's creatures have been reffered to as "mobs" since the beginning of developement.

Everything except how to actually do anything.

Blockland offers a tutorial on how things work.
Minecraft tosses you into a world with no knowledge.

If you want everything offered up on a plate, play Terraria. Crafting is as simple as it gets in that game. In Minecraft, you either have to look up recipes online, or figure out how to make the little amount of content using a 2x2 or 3x3 grid.
This is very true, and it is one of the things that is the most annoying about Minecraft, particularly when you begin.
There should be some form of tutorial function. Something that covers the basics of how to break blocks, place them, craft a few items and fight creatures. Hopefully such functions are created nearer the time that Minecraft goes fully retail.

And the crafting thing is a nuisance.
I do have to head to the minecraft wiki page every time a new crafting recipe is released in an update, and to begin with, I had no idea how to create most things, beyond planks and a crafting table.

Minecraft is good, but it still leaves plenty to be wanted. Some basics would be nicer to have covered before more extravagant updates.

Pigs, cows, zombies, skeletons, spiders, etc. are all considered "mobs."
You late, son.

Minecraft is incomplete so most of this will more than likely be fixed via updates in the future.

Don't be such a literalist. It goes on forever and generates game-breaking features in the terrain once you reach a certain point.
