Try changing it back to the ugly mode.

Both problems are equally as bad.

Is there a fix to it?

What if i remove the line to make it appear instantly?

I had Ubuntu on the computer I'm on now, but it was generally bad because it cut of windows(not the OS, the actual window, like I couldn't see the hit OK to set proprieties thing), Comcast didn't support it, and I couldn't run anything on it. So I just switched back to windows. Don't get me wrong, it looked pretty neat, so I installed it when windows XP took a stuff, but it didn't work right. D:
