I just got this error message upon trying to start TF2 through Steam.

Restart steam. Or restart Computer.

If these two things don't work then try reinstalling

I'll reinstall tomorrow, thanks for the obvious as stuff advice. I didn't think of that, I was too busy wanting to play games.

You almost never have to reinstall anything with this error.
