But that's actually really really impressive, and he did do plenty of post-processing. Not to mention he actually traveled to the buildings, not just recorded what was outside his front door.

Not really at all. You set up a waterproof point and shoot camera in the rain and pressed record and then spliced the clips together and added some ill fitting music.

I took a thousand dollar camera, set up the light in almost every shot, focused every shot by hand, adjusted exposure settings, set up the composition of each shot, and then spent a couple hours editing all the pictures.
