Anyone can get work. And as long as they get minimum wage, they can survive. Every single teenager I know who wants a job, has one. If teenagers can get jobs, adults can too.

Because it puts a major drain on the economy. Rich people can afford rich people human services. Not everyone has to be set equal by the government.
