Author Topic: Neighbor confiscated my board because apparently skateboarding makes you a thug.  (Read 6454 times)

Remember the same bitch from here?
Well she strikes again. Theres a plaza near by thats pretty cool with skaters (minus the burger king, they hate skaters) and so me and my friends were skating outside the publix (the manager thinks we're cool so he lets us skate there) when she shows up saying "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" in a surprised worried tone. I said "skating." she then said "I refuse to let you turn into drug dealing thugs!" I had my board against the wall because i set it down to take a sip of water, so she grabbed the board, and tried to grab my friends but my friend grabbed his and slapped her hand, and said "Skating turns you into a drug addicted freak! Stop doing this!" i said "the forgets wrong with you? We're pushing wood with wheels on it, whats so bad about that?" Then she scolded us some more and drove away with my board. I walk home, pissed as forget, and here i am.

I want to get the board back, and i want this bitch to stop caring about our lives and to get her to focus on hers.
what to do?

What's with everyone being too much of a pusillanimous individual to do anything?
You walk to her house, and tell her to give it back.
If she does not comply, remind her that what she has done is against the law.

already tried such, she refused to give the board.
I did also remind her that is stealing, she said its civil disobedience because she thinks we shouldn't skate because later we're gonna ride in a gang.
wtf.

Do you have no common sense when it comes to things like this?

This is either your property or the property of your mom/dad assuming they bought it for you.

You can't just walk up to someone, take one of their items and claim that it can turn you into a drug addicted freak.

It's also not civil disobedience because she isn't even an authority to listen from.

Neighbor is a cop, gonna see what he can do.

Damn right.  She took YOUR items, or your parent's items.  Whoever the hell paid for it, its theirs.

I don't know where this mom gets the idea she can be a vigilante hero-mom.

Post results, this might be an interesting story.

Ring it up with the 5O homie!
You can't let that old brother take yer skatin' board!

PS when's our next thug meeting?

But yeah the cops are a wise choice.

i had a part time job over summer, i paid for it myself.

someone tried to do this to my freind when I was with him, but instead it was a BMX bike and he had nearly ran over her flowers, but my friend just said no and when the woman tried to take it he backed off and said if she tried again he'd hit her with his bike and call the cops.. good strategy in my opinion

and, if you live in the US, it's legally your parent's until you turn 18
