Author Topic: Is it possible to "combine" dual core processor?  (Read 438 times)

Like... I dunno use both cores for one thing so instead of running at one core speed run at a combined speed for one program. I don't know much about processors so if this isn't the way dual cores work.

From Google, it says you can.

I've tried Google searching but I've got two problems. One I don't know what exactly to search for, two I can never find good results.

If a program does support dual cores, then they will usually divide the workload between both. Not equal to multiplying the clock speed by the number of cores (never is).
