Author Topic: Is Harry Potter the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 3D worth it?  (Read 792 times)

I'm going to go to the movie theater tomorrow to see Harry Potter, for the second time, with my mom. I suggested 3D, but I don't know if it's worth it. What do you guys think?

I saw a few movies in 3D but the only thing they seemed to do was give me a head ach.
I sudgest watching it in 2D so you'll save some $$$ and still see a great movie.

Really? I... actually... have never watched a movie in 3D

3d sucks for any movie. its a major eye strain, and the effect isnt even that great.
if anything 3d ruins movies.

Thanks for the tips, I'm a newcomer in the 3D world

How much extra are you paying for 3D rather than 2D?

Like... maybe $10 or $5 more? Idk.

i saw tron in 3d and dbox seats.
the seats were badass, could have done without the 3d though.

I watched a musical in 3D but I wouldn't suggest doing the same for a movie. Like Bisjac said, it's not even that great so it would probably ruin it.

The movie itself is badass, but I'm indifferent on 3D effects.

So... 3D is just a waste of money?

Yeah, it's pretty much just paying for a eye strain.

yeah 3D is a waste

Just go see the movie

the movie is goooooooooooooooood

It's totally worth it.  I went to see it in 3D three times.  The only thing about the whole 3D thing is that you need to be a fairly decent distance from the screen.

Otherwise...
Yeah, it's pretty much just paying for a eye strain.

When I saw toy story 3 with some friends we accidentally bought tickets for the 3D showing

and the only seats open where in the front row

my eyes hurt like hell after that
