I believe the proper term is virii, or something.

Or viruses, who knows?

System restore is computer's guardian.

This. It saved me like 3 times.

Why does no one ever boot onto safe mode, and system restore? It isn't that hard.

System restore is computer's guardian.
Do you not understand that this virus is undetectable?
Did you even watch the second video? :(

Restore to factory defaults or restore to a backup.

You DO have a backup, right?

The damn virus blew up a nuclear enrichment facility...

Didn't watch the videos, sorry.

Thought you had a virus, lol. Watching videos.

Before Blockland Retail was out, I was making a generic Screenshot Viewer for v0002. I had just finished it, and came back on the next day. 98% of the code was gone. I was confused as forget, inquired my family. My sister did a System Restore without asking me and undid all of my data. I had done it mostly on spur of the moment and couldn't reproduce it the same, giving up. This is why I never accept System Restore as a simple option.

Um, it's called save all your important files on a flashdrive.

anyway, this virus will not just show up. You have to download or visit a site with it somehow. Unless your'  whole ISP gets it...

You guys don't understand what these viruses can do, do you?
Stuxnet was designed for a single target, the Iranian Uranium Facilities. It was not spread towards simple users computers, it was meant for industrial computer networks. When they detected the virus, they can't simply do some sort of system restore or anything like that, it was the most complicated virus ever designed. Not some script kiddy's virus to steal your passwords, it was a whole new type of virus. A real weapon.
