The average temperature on Mars is only like -43 degrees. When you add a ton of carbon dioxide from the caps it might not be so bad.

It's still gonna take a ton of rad away to clean the surface  :cookieMonster:

Mars isn't radioactive. It just doesn't have a suitable atmosphere, but it does have the capability of holding an atmosphere, so It's just a situation of figuring out an actually efficient way of pumping oxygen over there.

Or cleaning the CO2. Which we should probably worry about doing here on earth first.

Not a bad plan, but there's still no efficient way to do this.
We need portal technology.

We need portal technology.
OR WE COULD TAKE THE EXCESS CO2 AND PUSH IT SOMEWHERE ELSE

No. Used to a different forum which didn't have a quote button and I had to copy and paste the actual words and insert the BBC for it my self. So.

You sir are a genius.

YOUR ENTHUSIASM IS SO INSPIRING

I don't know too much about the whole thing,  but isn't Mars's atmosphere entirely CO2?  We could plant an assload of trees (and bring dirt if we can't use the native soil) and come back after a while.

Mars is impossible to terraform due to the lack of a magnetic field.
