but Brian Fargo has started a Wasteland 2 project, iirc, it will have similar gameplay to Fallout 1 & 2 if thats what you're after :)

I guess. Fallout 3 was just linear where as the older games you could roam around and there was more than one way to get something done. Although funny that some of the guys who worked on the older games liked it. Anyway, can't Beth try and make something new that isn't the same thing with a different coat of paint?

i dont think they care about the franchise enough to not just make an Elder Scrolls: Fallout Editon III

I dont know what Beth will do with Fallout 4.
Im hoping they will work with some of the guys from Obsidian.

But if they do forget us over with another Elder Scrolls: Fallout, I will lose a lot of respect for them.

Also It was announced that Interplay revived its Black Isle Studios. However only Mark O'Green and Chris Taylor are all the only origional stuff to work in it. It should also be noted that Chris Avellone and Brian Fargo were unaware of it reopening.

As Uncle Bengs said, Wasteland 2 is being worked on.

I love Fallout, but I think I Wasteland 2 may go pretty high on my "Favourite Games" list if its done right.
