Author Topic: Sketchup OBJ exporter  (Read 3996 times)

I don't use sketchup, but after hearing about extrude having an OBJ exporter, I decided to search.

I found this importer on this forum, but you need an account to download, but luckily, there was a direct download on the blog that held it.
Also, there's a hacked version of too that exports textures.

Installation and other info

I can see this happening as well.

Good find though.

i had a sketchup to obj for a long time this isn't anything new...

Nah.
Phew.
I suggest to most people that you use blender with an exporter instead of milkshape.
Why?
It's free.

Sketchup makes modeling 100x easier.

And I've had this for a looong time. In fact, Extrude told me about it the day he found it.
