I'm having some issues with New Vegas on steam, is this normal?

See in Fallout 3 I wasn't able to walk over a table, I had to jump onto it. In Fallout New Vegas there are a few tables I can get on just by walking up to it.

It's loving annoying to me especially when I am trying to steal objects or navigate through the damn room. Oh and once I walked over a counter and I got loving stuck by an intercom thing.

Oh yeah.. Thats happened to me a few times, some of which were just messed up tables, and other times, it just fixed itself. There are a few table in the game that when you walk up to them, you bounce up like 7 feet in the air. Kinda cool.

You know what else is annoying, using a damn couch for cover but when I press up against it I walk right onto the damn couch.

Amazing how in less than 4 hours of gameplay there is bugs. It's almost as if these starfishs over at bethesda didn't even beta test this game.
