This is bad. I once thought i had a tapeworm, and wouldn't poo for days...when i finely did it was bloody, and had to go to the doctor. As part of the standard procedure he had to stick his fingers up my butt to test it for blood.

There is one colon inspection procedure where the doctor essentially brown town probes you with a camera stuck on the end of a cable. I think it is called colonoscopy and the patient is awake throughout it.
