don’t worry about sharing your first piece of music (heck, art in general) with everybody but yourself, either. worry about that later, when you really think you’ve got something worthwhile and you’ve come to grips with the basics. if you dump your first few works onto somebody’s lap for opinions you’re going to get alot of “keep at it!”, and that’s it. constructive criticism isn’t going to be useful for a while. just keep going.
