Author Topic: How do I tell if a video card is good or not?  (Read 500 times)

And I mean being able to tell while in a store.
I know how to tell if a processor is good or not (Look at the Ghz, brand, cores, etc), but I really don't get how the video card series work.

I have a computer with an ATI radeon HD 5450 and it got a rating of 5.0/7.9 on the Windows rating scale, so I went to the store to buy a better one to the point where I found out I have absolutely no clue to tell besides a small idea from the price.

Is it based on series or brand or something? Please tell me :c

google
ati hd radeon hd 5450 benchmark

it'll have it's performance rated and compared on high req games

Check all the clocks.

Sucks when your parents are buying it for you though, and they're like "No get that other one, it's cheaper!"
