I need a wireless bridge or something.

I feel very comfortable in my room with my computer. The big problem is the fact that the internet connection is very spotty because my router is all the way across the house through 11 walls (Yes, I know. That's a lot of loving rooms.).

That's where you folks come in. I need you guys to help me find a wireless bridge or some other device that'll help me extend the range of the router. I'd prefer something that doesn't cost over $100 though. Thanks.

I forgot to mention. I can't do that either because:

• One, I have no phone or wireless jack in the wall of my room.
• And two, my parents use the router too, so if I moved it over there, they wouldn't be able to get a good connection.

I was exaggerating. It's only about 102' 6" from where my computer will sit to the router.

But, are there any other solutions other than a really long Ethernet cable? It would be a little hard to hide a huge cord going through the bulk of my house.

They make 20 dollar wireless signal extenders, you basically put one half way, or 2 and have them equal distances apart, and they will extend the signal.

Maybe more, not sure. My dad got like 10 when he was running an apartment complex so everyone can use the Wifi.

My dad connected a few cords together and made it a mile.

ALso a cisco wifi connector is great I get connection in the basement and above me is some thick wood and stuff like that there only 40$
