Mouse and keyboard for everything, aiming is a billion times more easier than a controller.

Because every game requires aiming right?

I've yet to come across a game where you don't need to aim at all.

Wow I love Super Mario Brothers.

Yep, the aiming in that is fantastic. :cookieMonster:

Even so, in Dynasty warriors "aiming" with a controller is way more comfortable.

Mouse and Keyboard dominate in FPS's

Controller just feels right.
I mean the Duelshock controllers are like love in the form of a plastic material.

Gonna say this since most people I know agree with this:

Mouse & keyboard for speed in vertical and horizontal aiming with raw hand-eye coordination, but less in precision

Controller for precision, but less for speed.

Whenever I play FPS's I use that.

But emulators + side scrollers (eg Cortex Command) I'll use my PS1 to USB thingy.

For emulators I ALWAYS use controllers, unless the emulated console uses a keyboard and mouse (point & click games)

So, a mouse that can point exactly where you're looking as soon as you need it to point there is not as precise a method of control as a thumbstick which can't even turn you around 360 degrees in less than six+ seconds?

The people you know are idiots

you've obviously never played a shooter on max sensitivity. in call of duty, for example, you can spin 2-3 times per second full circle.. with a controller.

But when you do that then it's almost impossible to aim because you're sliding all over the place.
No matter what reasons you come up with, a controller cannot match a mouse and keyboard in things that require pinpoint accuracy such as an FPS
