C-C-C-C-COMBOOOO BREAKERRRRR

Ignore the build suggested before. There's no way you're gonna get a decent computer on the z68 platform with this budget.

One thing I learned today: VAT is an starfish.

Below I have configured the best system you're possibly going to get for your budget without building one yourself.
http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/saving/show.aspx?id=325525

Key specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 850BE
4GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD6670 1GB
500GB HDD

Comes with a 19 inch 720p monitor, a $7 keyboard, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

The link does lead to it for me.
I didn't change much off the base model, just a few things.

Dell isn't really a brand to go off.
The best part would be getting a 6870 and that tops out at a whopping

Also ethan

That's overkill for Sims 3, TF2.

GT 430 does just fine.

Why not get a better computer if you can afford it?
I don't think there is such thing as overkill if you can go better without losing anything.

Even if it is overkill, do you not want to be able to run other games that you wouldn't be able to run on a compute fit for those games.

(I can run TF2 on an Intel 845G chipset, and get 10-40fps, 20-30 fps average, and it's playable)

forget you guys
a Radeon X200 satisfied my needs (that was running 2009 games at low for 4 years)

I do want the best I can get.
Thanks hk but I'll stick with Ethan's for now.

I'm going to make the honourable mention.

AMD Processors are loving GARBAGE
An intel pentium 4 probably does better nowadays.

Everyone knows the 1100T < 2500k i5

what's wrong with AMD? D;

what's wrong with AMD? D;

The fact is the strongest CPU they have available is 6 cores and it still doesn't compare to the quad cores of the i5 i showed you, plus AMD's are less futureproof

A pentium 4 lasted a few years for me, AMD's need updating every 2 years time.

i5 2500k is probably your best, if you ever want to speed it up the overclocking is possibile, make sure you have a good cooling though

All my main PCs have used Intel, i've used 3 Godly PCs in my life - Back in the day of pentium 3 & 4 was the good days
