I've been trying to find a new computer to. My parents are making me mad for they suddenly think they know everything about computers and are making me buy a 1000$ computer from Best Buy but wont let me buy a 650$ one that can run Battlefield 3 full quality and is better than the 1000$ one because it's not branded.

Show them a message what i said:

If the number of the card is higher ( 6990 HD for Radeon is your best and you should go for the 6770 minimum or the GTX 460/560 or higher, those should be ya targets unless you use crossfired 5770s.

Freeze, considering use your old monitor, 1920x1080 is too lame for me.

>i don't have an old monitor

Use a TV?

The only T.V I have (other than the main T.V one and stand up one in the playroom) is the one the Xbox is plugged into and it can't do it. To small and not much quality.
I don't mind buying a new monitor.
