I crawled out from under the couch, taking my scrap with me, and kicked a little lever, making the couch recline like a dream.
"At that angle you should be comfortable instantly..."

I rolled my eyes.

"Pardon me for doing something that won't get anybody hurt!"

"I didn't say anything."

"I saw you roll your eyes!"

"Do you think the lady wants to see us argue like this?" I said with a sly look.

"Well it seems we already have the same personalities..." I said, calming down.

I jerked my head in the girl's direction.

"You two have fun." I said with a bit of a mocking tone as I walked away.
