Computer wont start,need help

My computer sounds like it's starting normally but the screen wont turn on. I dont think its the screen because it started after i force shut the computer off by holding the power button when it froze whise starting up. Any idea why my screen wont go on on startup? Also, im posting this on my kindle for those people who say " durr if comp no work how u post?"

Its in right, i doublechecked it. Still no luck. Im thinking that the cable went bad.

VGA, the wire is part of the monitor.

Yes,it has power,the orange light is on.

Try finding an old monitor and plug it in to see if yours is broken.

Crap,no extra monitors around. Obviously, if the other one worked, it would be broked monitor,lets say the extra monitor doesnt work.

Yes,the monitor's worked before.

Your graphics card probably fried out. Did you notice any strange blue lines before?
