Author Topic: Throwing a weapon.  (Read 1842 times)

I have the script and the model for a rock/stone/pebbel. I'm just wondering, do i need a mountPoint and muzzlePoint?

Look at the Black Knive's model and script.

Why not just look at the default spear script?

The Mountpoint and Muzzlepoint joints do not show up in the script anywhere @ above posts, they show up on the model, and I've never heard of an item that didn't have a muzzlepoint and mountpoint, so I would assume so

It would probably need a mountPoint if you want to hold it in a specific spot. Obviously know muzzlePoint, rocks do not have muzzles.

But again, I never heard of an item not using a muzzle point

It's still here.

Select the joint tool again, and put it where the gun shoots. If you made a sword, put it where it would hit you. And if you make a throwing object, put it where it throws from.
If you are downloading a thrown weapon, download this:

I just have a couple words for you

No it does not have a muzzle point on it.

What about if you want a trail emitter?

Then you have to attach it do the projectile I think.

But again, I never heard of an item not using a muzzle point

Melee weapons don't have a muzzlePoint.

Melee weapons don't have a muzzlePoint.
Are you dumb? Its about throwing weapons not melee weapons

Read what's inside the quote on my post. Hurr.

All.

Weapons.

Have.

Mount.

and.

Muzzle.

No exceptions.

IF you had just listened to me, we wouldn't have this problem.

But this isn't about melee.
He was responding to Soba, however incorrectly.

Still, listen to Azerath, and listen to me.
