I have been making a floating islands DM but its a lot smaller, smaller plateforms, and has more ramps.
And may use the spear, bow, sword, and maybe the grapple.

Does your Knife TDM have the dammed grapple rope in it? Cause if it does, that stuff breaks so much of the mechanics and skill that a Knife TDM demands.

Yea I know what you mean, a grapple would not really work in this I don't think.

Why do people keep making knife TDM's anyway?
Considering the hit-detection relies almost entirely on your connection to the server it pretty much forgets over anyone with a ping above 150
or so.

I mean, sure, it's a pretty nice build but it's not doing anything for the low number of fun servers in Blockland

My guess on why Knife DM's are so popular is because they can be built in almost no time or effort. They usually only consist of several free floating platforms. Not to mention they bring in massive server population thus making the appearance of making and hosting one much more appealing.

This one here is definitely NOT one of those and could probably be used efficiently as any TDM/DM, not just a knife TDM.

Knife TDM's will always be 90% about how fast your computer is, and 10% your skill with a knife.

I think a knife TDM would be more fun if you had places to hid and come out and attack, then it is not just who ever is the best with the knife that always wins, but the brainy.
