FISHING THREAD GO!

I've recently started to become an avid fisherman, within the recent year. Luckily, I live about an hour away from Lake Eerie, and a short bike ride away from a nice lake to do some river/lake fishing in.

Also, one day, I'm going to try Marlin fishing, definitley sounds like something worth a try once I'm experienced enough.

I caught a boot once

I ate it

right there

no regrets

I used to think fishing was okay but now it's kind of lame.

some fish are very sharp and hurt

The last time I fished was a month ago. I caught a Coho and a King Salmon that time, it's really fun even though it's time consuming. I'd definitely go again and I recommend you guys to try it if you haven't yet.

The last time I went fishing was super fun. I went for the first time in 4-5 years with my dad and brother. We caught so many Perches around mid-afternoon. Every 5 secs after I casted my line, there'd be another River Perch tugging at my line. There were around 18 Perches we caught that day.

Crappie fishing, hell yes.

So you were only out for a minute and a half?

Yeah, when you us those double-thingies all you really need to do is lower the line down into the water and wait 5 seconds. What lake were you on?

Catfish. When they poke you with their feeler thingies, they release a poison into your hand. It hurts, and will leave a scar.

I've swam out into the river and hit a fish with a piece of wood
Does that count

Hitting fish with your wood is nothing special.

I don't fish with fishing rods because I don't want to hurt the fish :C
